#Introducing the Chillverse Championship — Eclipse Series
Chillverse has a new competitive centerpiece: the Chillverse Championship, a biweekly single-elimination PvP tournament built on top of the Battle Cards system you already know, with its own rules, its own rewards, and its own permanent Hall of Fame.
The first season, Eclipse Series, opens soon.
What it is
Every two weeks, registration opens for a new Championship season. Once the window closes, every registered player is placed into a randomly seeded single-elimination bracket — 8, 16, or 32 players, sized automatically to however many people signed up. From there, it's win or go home: one loss and you're out, all the way to a Champion.
This isn't your everyday PvP. Championship matches run on their own isolated rules, separate from your regular PvP HP and cooldowns, so competing in the tournament never gets in the way of your normal day-to-day play.
How a season runs
- Registration — a 72-hour window to sign up. A minimum of 8 players is needed for a season to run.
- Bracket draw — once registration closes, the bracket is drawn and pairings for Round 1 are set at random.
- Prep window — before each round, you get time to review your opponent and lock in your loadout.
- The round — a set window to land your attacks. Land the killing blow, or come out ahead when time runs out.
- Advance or go home — winners move to the next round; the bracket keeps cutting in half until one player is left standing.
Building your loadout
Every Championship match uses a loadout of 3 battle cards and up to 2 consumables, chosen from that season's legal card pool. A few things make this different from your regular Battle Deck:
- Equal access. You don't need to already own a card to bring it into the Championship — every registered player has full access to the season's legal pool. Win or lose, nothing is taken from your personal collection.
- Standardized stats. Every card in the Championship pool uses fixed, season-defined damage and cooldown numbers. Your card's level in regular PvP has no bearing here — what decides a match is how you play it, not how much you've upgraded.
- A curated pool. Not every card in the game is tournament-legal. The pool leans on direct, decisive cards and a couple of Championship-exclusive ones — including Eclipse Strike and Solara's Touch, two cards forged specifically for this tournament and found nowhere else in Chillverse.
Once a round begins, your loadout locks for that round. Choose carefully.
The fight
- 500 HP per player, every match.
- 6 attacks maximum per player, per match.
- A 3-card combo — chaining all three of your battle cards into a single attack for a major damage bonus — but only once per match. Save it for the moment that matters.
- If time runs out with nobody eliminated, the win goes to whoever dealt the most damage, then whoever has the higher HP remaining.
- Attacks are asynchronous — log in whenever suits you during the round window, no need to be online at the same time as your opponent.
The rewards
The Chillverse Championship isn't about diamonds. It's about the badge.
- Champion — an exclusive, non-purchasable badge, permanently displayed on your profile, and a place in the Hall of Champions forever.
- Runner-up — a permanent record for making it all the way to the final.
- Every round you survive builds your Championship track record, visible on your profile.
There's no way to buy your way onto this list. You have to win it.
Ready to compete?
Head to the Championship tab from your Dashboard to check whether registration is open for the current season. If it is, tap in, register, and start thinking about your loadout — Round 1 will be here before you know it.
See you on the bracket.
