Anime Trivia is built for people who will be annoyed by an easy question. The questions cover the shows themselves rather than the merchandise around them — village names, ship names, the specifics you only pick up by watching.

The twist is the clock. Getting answers right does not make the game easier, it makes it harder: every three correct answers shaves time off your window. A long streak eventually leaves you answering on recognition alone.

How to play

A question appears with four possible answers.
Tap the correct one before the timer runs out.
Every three correct answers in a row reduces the time you get per question.
A wrong answer or a timeout costs a life.
Run out of lives and the session ends.

Scoring and XP

Lives depend on rank, and they get scarce fast: 3 at Beginner and Intermediate, 2 at Advanced, and a single life at Master.
The per-question timer shrinks by one step for every three answers you chain together.
One session per run.

How to get better at Anime Trivia

Read the wrong answers first

The distractors are drawn from the same series, so they are plausible by design. Scanning them before you commit is usually faster than second-guessing yourself after you have already reached for one.

Master rank is a knife edge

One life means one lapse ends the run. If you are playing for XP volume rather than the rank badge, sitting at Advanced with two lives and a slightly slower clock will often out-earn Master.

Streaks cut both ways

The shrinking timer means your ninth correct answer is much harder than your first. Expect to lose the run at speed rather than to a question you did not know.

How current are the questions?

They cover established series rather than the current season, so a broad viewing history helps more than being up to date. Expect village names, ship names and crew details rather than episode-level trivia.

Why does the timer keep shrinking?

Every three correct answers takes a step off your window. It is the game's way of making a long streak an achievement rather than a grind — the run ends when your recall stops beating the clock.
