Highline
Highline is a rooftop endless runner. You sprint across a city skyline, jumping rooftop gear and sliding under overhead signs and beams, while the pace climbs and the districts change around you.
Orbs and near misses build a streak, and the streak drives a score multiplier that tops out at 8 times. Let the streak lapse and the multiplier drops back to one, so a clean line matters more than raw speed.
One hit ends the run. Highline is a Pro game, so it needs an active Orbit or Void subscription.
How to play
- Tap Jump, or press Space or Up, to clear gear on the rooftop. Hold it for a higher jump.
- Tap Slide, press Down or S, or swipe down to duck under signs and beams.
- Collect orbs and skim close to obstacles to build your streak.
- Keep the streak going before the timer runs out to hold your multiplier.
- Hit anything and the run is over.
Scoring and XP
- Your score climbs with distance, multiplied by your current streak multiplier.
- The multiplier grows with your streak and caps at 8 times.
- Each orb is worth 40 points times your multiplier.
- XP is based on distance and your best streak, and is capped at 70 per run.
- Each run costs two sessions.
How to get better at Highline
Protect the streak
A high multiplier is worth far more than a few extra metres. If an orb sits in a risky spot, ask whether the streak survives the detour before you go for it.
Slide early, not late
Overhead signs and beams are easy to mistime at speed. Starting the slide a beat early costs nothing, while a late one ends the run.
Read the next obstacle, not the one in front
As the pace picks up, obstacles arrive in combinations. Look one obstacle ahead so you already know whether the next move is a jump or a slide.
Common questions
Do I need a subscription to play Highline?
Yes. Highline is a Pro game, so it needs an active Orbit or Void subscription. Everything else in Chillverse stays open to free accounts.
How does the streak multiplier work?
Orbs and near misses add to your streak, and the multiplier rises as the streak grows, up to 8 times. If you go too long without adding to it, the streak resets and the multiplier returns to one.
