Sort Rush
Sort Rush gives you a board of six words and a row of categories — food, living things, countries, AIs, and sports and music once you climb the ranks. Tap a word, tap the category it belongs in, and the clock resets for the next one. It is quick to learn and gets tense fast.
Speed and accuracy both pay. Sorting a word with at least half the clock left earns a speed bonus, back-to-back correct sorts build a combo that adds XP, and clearing a board without a single mistake pays extra on top. It is the most generous game in the catalogue per run, and it costs six sessions to match.
How to play
- A board of six words appears with the categories underneath.
- Tap a word to select it, then tap the category it belongs to.
- A correct sort resets the clock for the next word.
- A wrong category or a timeout costs a life and breaks your combo.
- A category you got wrong is crossed off for that word, so you can't lose a second life the same way.
- Clear every board in the run to finish. Lives, boards and clock speed all depend on your rank.
Scoring and XP
- 8 XP for every correct sort, plus 3 more if you sorted it with at least half the clock left.
- Combo bonus: +1 XP per sort in a row past the second, up to +5.
- 15 XP for clearing a board, and 10 more if you made no mistakes on it.
- A flawless run — no mistakes at all — pays a 40 XP bonus.
- XP is capped per run by rank: 350 at Beginner, 400 at Intermediate, 450 at Advanced and 500 at Master.
- Rank sets the difficulty: Beginner is 3 boards at 8 seconds a word with 3 lives, Master is 6 boards at 5 seconds with 2 lives and six categories.
- Six sessions to play.
How to get better at Sort Rush
Protect the combo first
The combo bonus is small per sort but it compounds across a whole run, and one mistake resets it to zero. When you are unsure, take the extra second — a safe sort beats a fast guess.
Sort the obvious ones first
Pick off the words you are certain about while the clock is generous, then give the tricky one the full clock at the end. The clock resets on every correct sort, so the easy words buy you nothing but momentum.
Use the crossed-off categories
A wrong guess crosses that category off for the word, which narrows it down for free. If you lose a life on a word, the next tap should be a certainty.
Common questions
Where does Sort Rush come from?
It is the full, ranked version of the word-sorting stage from Mino Games. Same core idea — sort the words before the clock runs out — with lives, combos, rank-based difficulty and XP on top.
Why does it cost six sessions?
A run is long and pays a lot of XP, so it is priced like the other high-reward games. Flawless boards and a flawless run are the way to make the most of it.
What happens if I run out of time?
The clock running out costs you a life, same as a wrong sort. If it was your last life the run ends, and you keep the XP you had already earned.
