You can delete any message you've sent. Once deleted, the message's content is replaced with a "Message deleted" placeholder for everyone in the conversation — it isn't removed from the conversation entirely, but the original content is no longer visible to anyone, including you. You can only delete your own messages, not ones sent by other people.
