Diamond hunt is a timed treasure hunt. A hidden diamond is placed on one page of Chillverse, and you get a riddle that points to that page. Find it, tap it, and Diamonds are added straight to your wallet. The sooner you find it, the more you earn.
{{callout:brand:Sparkles}} Quick version: read the clue, work out which page it means, go to that page, spot the faint diamond in a corner, and tap it.
Before you start
You need to be signed in to see and join a hunt. Hunts only run for a limited time, and there is nothing to see when no hunt is live.
When a hunt is live, a small pill with a diamond icon and a countdown timer floats at the top right of your screen.
Step by step
- Find the pill. Look for the small pill with a gem icon and a countdown at the top right of the screen.
- Tap it to expand. The pill opens to show today's clue, the Top 3 finders so far, and a How to participate link back to this article.
- Read the clue carefully. The clue is a riddle. It points to one page in Chillverse, such as a feature, a game area, or a screen you already know.
- Go to that page. Use the bottom dock or the menu to open the page you think the riddle describes.
- Look around the screen. On the right page, a small round diamond appears in one spot: a corner or the middle of the left or right edge. It is semi-transparent, so it is easy to miss. Scroll and look carefully.
- Tap the diamond. A popup shows your rank and the Diamonds you earned.
- Done. Your reward goes straight to your wallet. Tap Nice to close the popup.
How rewards work
Rewards depend on how early you find it. First place earns the most, and each finder after that earns a little less, down to a minimum amount. The Top 3 list in the pill shows what the first finders earned.
Some hunts also limit how many people can win. If every spot is taken, the popup says Too late.
{{callout:blue:Info}} You can only find the diamond once per hunt. After you find it, the pill shows your rank and reward, and the diamond stops appearing for you.
What the pill shows
- Countdown: the time left in the hunt. When it reaches zero, the pill changes to Ended.
- Today's clue: the riddle for the current hunt.
- You found it: appears once you have claimed your reward, with your rank and the amount earned.
- Top 3: the first people to find the diamond.
- After the hunt: the pill shows the winners for a while, then goes away until the next hunt.
Tips
- Read the riddle slowly. Every word usually matters.
- Think about the pages you use every day. The answer is always a real page you can open.
- Check all the corners and the edges. The diamond is small and faded on purpose.
- The diamond only shows up on the correct page, so if you see nothing, try another page.
- Be quick. Rewards drop with each finder, and spots can run out.
- Keep the app open or come back often. New hunts can start at any time.
If something isn't working
I can't see the pill. There may be no live hunt right now. The pill also stays hidden while you are signed out and inside full-screen games. Go back to a normal page, such as Home, and check again.
I'm on the right page but see no diamond. You may have already found it, the hunt may have ended, or this may not be the right page after all. Re-read the clue. If you are sure it is the right page, reopen the app and try again.
It says "Not here". The diamond is on a different page. Read the clue again.
It says "You already found it". Your reward was already added to your wallet. You can only claim once per hunt.
It says "Too late". Every winner spot was taken before you tapped. Watch for the next hunt.
It says "The hunt is over". The timer ran out before your tap was counted.
I found it but my Diamonds look wrong. Check your wallet balance first. If it still looks wrong, open a ticket from the Support page and include the hunt's clue and the time you found it.
Fair play
Everyone gets the same clue and the same chance. The answer is never stored on your device, so there is nothing to dig out of the app. The answer is checked on our servers when you tap, which keeps the hunt fair for everyone.
Good luck, and happy hunting!
