Halo shows up in two places in Chillverse, and people mix them up all the time. Good news: once you see the difference, it clicks.
{{callout:brand:Sparkles}} Short version: Halo in Chat is live and ready to help you do things. Halo on the Dashboard is the AI coach, and it is coming soon.
Side 1: Halo in Chat (live now)
Halo has an official account, with the verified badge, and you can message it like any other player, any time. Think of it as a work bot, not a chat bot.
What does that mean? Halo is not there to talk about your day, philosophy or why your jollof is better than your cousin's. It is there to help you get small, useful things done fast, like checking your rank, looking at your wallet or changing your username.
How to find it
Open Social, tap Find people, and search for Halo AI. Look for the verified badge so you know it is the real one. Open the profile and start a chat.
What it can do
- Tell you where you stand on your rank and how far you are from the next tier
- Show your wallet balance
- Show your recent activity, play time and streak
- Look up your latest post
- Check your PvP status
- Explain how to unlock an achievement
- Show what is in the Mall and what you can afford
- Change your username
- Register you for Elimination Weekend
The full list, with phrases to try, is in the article Things you can ask Halo in Chat.
{{callout:green:ShieldCheck}} Halo never changes anything without asking first. Anything that changes your account shows a card with a Confirm button, and nothing happens until you tap it. Changed your mind? Just do not tap it.
Side 2: Halo AI on the Dashboard (coming soon)
The Halo card on your Dashboard, and the Ask Halo page under Home, are for the AI coach. It is built to give you XP tips, rank strategy and mission advice, and to look at your own stats while it does. Right now the card says Coming soon, so there is nothing to open yet. We will announce it when it is live.
{{callout:blue:Info}} If you ask a bigger, open ended question in chat, Halo may tell you it cannot dig into that yet and point you to the Halo AI page. That is normal. The chat Halo does specific jobs, and the coach is the one that will handle the broader questions once it launches.
Quick comparison
- Halo in Chat: live, works on specific tasks, asks you to confirm changes, found through Find people.
- Halo AI on the Dashboard: coming soon, open ended coaching, found on the Dashboard card and under Ask Halo.
Good to know
- Halo understands plain phrases, but it works from patterns, so try simple wording like "my rank" or "my wallet" if it does not catch what you mean the first time.
- It can only see your own account, never other people's.
- Halo is automated. For anything serious, like a missing purchase or a safety issue, use Submit a request so a real person can help.
{{callout:gold:Lightbulb}} Treat Halo like a very polite intern. Great at quick errands, not great at small talk, and it will always ask before touching anything important.
